College offers Allied Heath medical programs for students
looking to establish themselves in skilled medical careers.
Medical Assistants, Medical Transcriptionists, and Medical Coding Specialists are an integral
part of the medical office system. These careers specialize
in forms of data management that are essential for health care
systems.
Transcriptionists listen to and transcribe
important medical data for permanent patient files within
a professional health care environment or from the comfort
of their homes. The Medical Assistants specialize in a combination
of clinical skills and medical office knowledge making them
very valuable in any medical office.
The Midstate College Medical Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP), upon reccomendation of the Medical Assisting Educational Review Board (MAERB).
