Biography

I've been employed at Midstate College since 1983 and have had several different job responsibilities over the years. When I first started, I taught five typewriting classes on the old electric typewriters. Things have really changed since then. I am currently an instructor and the director of the Realtime Reporting Department.

On the personal side, I live in Magnolia, which is a little over 40 miles northeast of Peoria. I have two sons. The older one is married and teaches driver's ed. and is the head basketball and golf coach at an area high school. He and his wife have a three-year-old son. My younger son is employed as the human resources manager at a company just off of I-80 in the LaSalle-Peru area.

My interests include antiques, flea markets, volleyball, and walking. I have always been involved in the community and a few years ago resigned from the Marshall County Board after 22 years of service. I am currently a member of Rotary and a board member for our local historical society.
