DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWeight Loss and Health Program at Midsta
 te College\nThe Wellness and Health Initiative Program (WHIP) Core Com
 mittee has developed a new program for the students and employees of t
 he College. The program will be referred to as the WHIP Club. Each wee
 k the Core\nmembers will rotate in hosting the meetings and provide di
 fferent presentations including bringing in outside speakers. Meeting 
 as a group is a great way to address concerns, to obtain and provide s
 upport, and to learn and reinforce healthy habits for life.\nThe progr
 am is designed to focus on weight loss as well as recognize overall he
 alth improvements. Improvements can include but are not limited to wei
 ght loss, smaller clothing sizes, reduction in medication, increase in
  exercise, obtaining goals, and more.\nWeekly incentives will be given
  for improvements, and there is a monthly incentive program as describ
 ed below.\n\nOption 1: The first week of each month, participants pay 
 a $5.00 fee that goes into the “kitty.” The last week of each mont
 h, one participant will be awarded the entire “kitty.” The person 
 with the highest average\nweight loss for the month will be the recipi
 ent. If there is more than one person with the same average, the “ki
 tty” will be divided among the winners. As an example if there are 2
 0 people participating in the program, the “kitty” would be $100. 
 \n\nOption 2: If anyone would like to participate in the meetings for 
 the health benefits but not participate in the “kitty” program, he
  or she can choose option 2. These individuals can attend for free and
  weigh-in\nif they want to track weight, but they do not have to pay t
 he $5.00. Choosing option 2 also means that they are not eligible to p
 articipate in the “kitty.”\n\nDate: Every Wednesday\nWeigh-in Time
