MAT038: Intermediate Algebra

MAT038: Intermediate Algebra - 4 Hours

Prerequisite: MAT001

This developmental course is designed for students with less than two years of high school algebra or for those students needing a review of algebra. Topics to be covered include factoring, the algebra of polynomials and rational expressions, exponents, radicals and radical expressions, first- and second-degree equations and inequalities in both one- and two-variables including graphing, relations and functions, and solving systems of linear equations. Credit not applicable toward degree programs.
