MAT038: Intermediate Algebra - 4 Hours
This developmental course is designed for students with less than two years of high school algebra, or for those students needing a review of algebra. Topics to be covered include factoring, the algebra of polynomials and rational expressions, exponents, radicals and radical expressions, first and second degree equations and inequalities in both one and two variables including graphing, relations and functions, and solving systems of linear equations. Credit not applicable toward degree programs.
