Biography

Adjunct faculty member at Midstate College since 1995, previous teaching experience at Illinois Central College, Rock Valley College and Blackhawk Technical College. Finance graduate from Illinois State University in 1984, career banker working for both large national banks (JP Morgan Chase, National City, Wells Fargo) and local owned community banks. Married for 27 years to Cindy, have two boys, Jeffrey a senior Elementary Ed major at Monmouth College (playing baseball, dream is to coach) and Matthew who is a junior at Richwoods. Recent teaching assignments have included Principles of Finance, Managerial Finance, Principles of Management, Business Math and Money and Banking.

Education

  • BS in Finance, Minor in Business Administration, 1984

    After graduation, took an additional 15 hours of accounting course work at ICC and Sangamon State University
