Biography

I am from Peoria and have always lived in this area. My husband and I have two adult children, one granddaughter, and one grandson.

While still a student at ICC, I began working as a Medical Transcriptionist at Proctor Hospital and have worked in the Health Information field since that time. It has been interesting and challenging to be employed in different environments. I have worked in two acute care hospitals, a large medical practice/outpatient surgery center, coded for an Anesthesia/Pain Management practice, and consulted at a nursing home.
