Biography of Norman Burdick
Norm Burdick is the Senior Partner for a law firm specializing in workers’ compensation fraud. Prior to forming Burdick & Burdick, Mr. Burdick was an attorney working as a Fraud Investigator with the Illinois Department of Insurance, Workers’ Compensation Fraud Unit (WCFU). He spearheaded workers’ compensation fraud investigations working with employers, insurance companies, 3rd party administrators and law enforcement agencies.
Prior to accepting the investigator position with the Department of Insurance, Mr. Burdick was a workers’ compensation insurance executive. He was President of Great Central Insurance Company in Peoria.
Mr. Burdick has a background as a trial attorney in Illinois representing insurance companies such as The Home, CNA and Argonaut.
He later worked as Associate General Counsel and General Counsel.
Mr. Burdick developed and taught a variety of Continuing Education Courses to Insurance Agents and Attorneys.
