Student Records Assistant

Description: The Student Records Department is seeking a student records assistant to assist with all facets of managing central student records and other Registrar's Office functions, with primary responsibility for daily office management. Duties include: providing customer service; answering multiline phone system; maintaining student records; processing various requests; answering student inquiries; supervising and overseeing some processes; and general office duties.

Candidates should possess the following credentials:

- Bachelor's degree is preferred, Associate's degree with at least two years' related experience to duties will be considered;

Description: Midstate College seeks an outgoing, student-focused, full-time librarian for its Barbara Fields Memorial Library. This librarian position will report to the Dean of Academics and will oversee the planning and assessment for the library that should align with the college's strategic plan. The start date for this position will be fall 2015.

Primary tasks will include:
- Seek opportunities to increase library awareness and instruction across campus;
- Conduct library presentations in classroom to students during the day and in the evening;
- Create online tutorials to increase learning using library resources;
- Serve on various committees to increase library success with the college's strategic planning;
- Provide library services to the entire campus, including research assistance, information, etc.;
- Create and communicate library policies and procedures, as needed;
- Oversee library inventory and resources, including ordering and cataloging.

Qualifications include:
- Master's degree in Library Science required;
- Teaching experience preferred;
- Prior library experience in an educational environment preferred;
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills;
- Knowledge of student learning outcome assessment;
- Strong commitment to higher education;
- Experience of library database researching;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- Experience with academic assessment and accreditation preferred;
- Experience with technical writing, grant writing, and MLA/APA preferred.
