ACC110 Section E - 2018 Spring Term

ACC110: Computerized General Ledger - 4 Hours

Prerequisite: ACC101

This course will introduce the student to an off-the-shelf General Ledger (G/L) software system called QuickBooks. Students will practice entering data for small to medium sized businesses in this stand-alone accounting system. Students will prepare ledger problems both manually and using the QuickBooks software to ensure that they understand the general ledger procedures and how to perform them using the software. Students will prepare financial statements and other accounting functions such as maintaining the control account and subsidiary ledger for accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and payroll.
